00.010.002 WSPG Anniversary Issue - 1953 Wind & Sand Newspaper Newspaper, 8th Anniversary (9 July 1953) Issue of the White Sands Proving Ground newspaper, the Wind & Sand. Page 5 has article written by Mr. (M/Sgt) Sanders. There are two sections covering the 8 year period from 1945 to 1953.
00.010.003 Booklet Booklet titled "Guided Missiles, Modern Weapons for the Modern Army." Front/Back cover is drawing of Nike Ajax at what appears to be White Sands area. Document was prepared by the "Missile and Ordnance Systems Department of the General Electric Company." Also included is a 45 RPM sound recording which is labeled "LISTEN, to army bumper missile launching that set a world record for altitude-velocity. No date on the document. Estimated date would be mid 50's. 9 X 12 - 20 pages - stapled booklet.

00.010.007 Menu The fancy menu appears to be the last menu used by the Chief Petty Officers' Mess Open located at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. 9 3/4 X 13 - 3 pages - banded. Inserted inside the menu is a page 5 and 6 of the Missile Ranger Newspaper, dated September 1976. An article on page 5 was written by Mr. George Sanders and details some history of the club commerating its closing. 7 1/2 X 8 1/2.
