V2 Calibration Stand

      In this photo, you see the V-2 Calibration Stand in use.  You can see the steam exhausting to the left from the first level platform.  In the photo you can see the tank section of the V-2, the Turbine Pump and pipes below that, and the rocket motor with its top just at the level of the platform.  Again, you can see the two large pipes to take the water pumped through the system back to the large holding tank.  If you look closely, you can see two V-2 motors sitting in the background.

      At the base of the tower on the left, you can see two electric motors attached to pumps with pipes coming from the left - the large holding tank - and going up the tower.  These were the pumps used to pump water up to fill the two fuel tanks.
