  1. The White Sands Missile Range Museum Website is provided as a public service by the White Sands Missile Range Historical Foundation (Not Part of The Department of Defense).

  2. Information presented on the White Sands Missile Range Museum Website is considered public information and may be distributed or copied unless otherwise specified. Use of appropriate byline/photo/image credits is appreciated.

  3. For site management, information is collected for statistical purposes. This website uses the services of  Site Meter to create summary statistics, which are used for such purposes as assessing what information is of most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas.  Site Meter does not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. This means that a user's session on this Website will be tracked by Site Meter, but the user will be anonymous. Domain names and/or IP addresses are used to gather broad demographic information.

  4. Individual names and e-mail address of those people who voluntarily submit entries on the "Guest Stories" entry page are retained with other submitted material.  Those entering the information may opt not to have their entries made available on the Read Stories page for viewing by others.

  5. For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, our domain host's computer system employs software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage.

  6. Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, no other attempts are made to identify individual users or their usage habits. Raw data logs are used for no other purposes and are retained only until 100 visits to the Website occur.  Information on the last 100 visitors is retained by Site Meter.

  7. Unauthorized attempts to upload information or change information on this Website are strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986.
